Special Populations

Welcome School Counselors

During these trying times, it is imperative that we continue to reach and support ALL students. Our special populations often face unique barriers that can be exacerbated during these challenging times. Goals for some of these subgroups should be found in your district’s Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). Here you will find resources to help you serve the following sub groups: students with disabilities, Foster Youth, English Language Learners, Homeless, Chronic Absentees, LGBTQ Youth and Undocumented Students.
