During these trying times, it is imperative that we continue to reach and support ALL students. Our special populations often face unique barriers that can be exacerbated during these challenging times. Goals for some of these subgroups should be found in your district’s Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). Are your customers raving about you on social media? Share their great stories to help turn potential customers into loyal ones. The California Immigrant Youth Justice Alliance has a great list of resources and flyers available in English, Spanish, and other languages.

The following resources (video clips, articles, etc.) are for non-English speaking parents to help them think through how they might support their child’s learning at home over the coming weeks.
FREE school access during school closures with individual logins for staff and students. Movies, quizzes, games and activities for English Language Learners of all ages. Interactive features allow students to practice grammar and explore new vocabulary. Staff can access student’s saved work and monitor progress.
