During this difficult time it is essential that school staff collaborate to ensure that our students and family needs are met.  School counselors play a critical role in providing support to students and families.   It  is important that administrators have a clear  understanding about the role of school counselors during COVID-19  more  than ever before. This page is dedicated to site and district administrators as well as directors of student support services. The fact that you chose to view the California Association of School Counselor’s (CASC)  Taskforce Website is indicative of your interest in supporting school counselors and we thank you for that!  This page provides administrators with suggestions pertaining to your school counselor’s capacity in supporting  the school community transitioning to distance learning and to impact district goals and priorities as they support students, families, and staff during school closures and distance learning.
